How wonderful it is to know that

God not only cares, He understands,

He is touched, He is moved.

Entering into every pulse of anguish,

He longs to sustain and deliver us!

Prayer Requests and Praise...

Terry T...The doctors have adjusted his medication and he is doing better. Rick W...is out of the hospital as of yesterday. He is staying with Mom while he recoups. He still has a visiting nurse coming in but Mom is a great nurse! I know personally. Thanks Mom! I love you! And thank you Lord for healing! Linda W...goes in tomorrow for surgery on the first knee. Send healing on the wings of Your Spirit, Lord. Leanne G...Has begun home schooling her teenage son. Please pray that the Lord give her strength!

I went astray...

"Before I was afflicted I went astray; but now I have kept Thy Word...Psalm 119:67 NIV" Crisis crushes. And in crushing it often refines and purifies. You may be discouraged today because the crushing has not yet led to a surrender. After crisis crushes sufficiently, God steps in to comfort and teach.

We can overcome!

"With us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. 2 Chronicles 32:8 KJV" By following the model of those who have gone before us, we can do more than survive. We can overcome!

Rejoice and be glad in it!

"This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118-24 NIV". What a great verse! When I checked my email this morning, this was the greeting I got from my sister chick Nancy (click on her name to visit her blog...it's awesome!) What a wonderful way to start my day! Thank you Nancy! Even if it is dark and cloudy, and things aren't going just the way I want them to, I'm reminded again that God is in control, and this day, no matter what it brings, I will "rejoice and be glad in it".
